During the Moon eclipse in 2018 I was lucky enough to spot the Blood Moon just as it was rising behind the trees in Gross Aubrig. I took an image as fast as I could and ended up with the first picture you can see in this series. It didn't take long until the full Moon was visible. You can see a larger view of the Moon and Gross Aubrig just some minutes after it began to rise on the second picture.
