It is estimated that this comet would have been in the inner solar system and potentially visible from Earth 50,000 years ago.

So I set the alarm clock for 3:00 a.m. to catch the short phase of clear skies. At -10°C, I set up everything outside and could expose it for a little over an hour until the clouds were back.
