Information from the author

The Leo Triplet (or M66 Group) is a small group of galaxies about 35 million light-years away from our planet Earth in the constellation Leo. The three galaxies, M66 / NGC3627 (bottom-left), M65 / NGC3623 (bottom-right) and NGC3628 (top) also known as the Hamburger Galaxy are not only close apparently but they all share an equal distance of roughly 30 million light-years. This means that they are actually very close to each other in space.
