Information from the author

The Cocoon Nebula, also known as IC 5146, combines emission and reflection nebula found in the constellation Cygnus. It encompasses a newly forming open star cluster, surrounded by a dusty gas cloud that glows both from the young stars' light and from ionized gases. This nebula is about 4,000 light-years away from Earth and is an active star-forming region.
